Matty didn't set out to be a photographer, he just sucked with a paint brush in his hand…

Turns out Photography was the best way to keep hanging out in the Art rooms with his mates. Sport was naturally his first stop, using his deep knowledge and passion to serve credible work to people who care about the details.

His work spans Commercial, Sport, and Portraiture. Visually different but at its core, it's all human-led storytelling with community at its core.

Over the last decade, he's built Harrington Studios into a space where Brands, Athletes, and Individuals come to find their visual voice. Be it a visual identity, brand positioning or tone, Matty has used his experience to create undeniable results.

Lately, he’s been drawn to spending more time working throughout Regional Victoria. The slower pace, tight-knit communities and vast landscapes continue to shape the stories he wants to tell and the way he wants to tell them.

He's drawn to moments that feel authentic, expressions that can't be faked, beautiful backdrops and locations that feel like home.

He's shot for Nike, Meta, Porsche, and Google. But the approach never changes: listen deeply, understand the desired outcome, direct with purpose and don’t fuck it up.
